Laughing Crab Catering, a special event catering company based in downtown Havre de Grace, won three top awards at the prestigious St. Augustine Seafood Festival in St. Augustine, Florida.

Never in the 29 years of the St. Augustine Seafood Festival has any restaurant or food purveyor ever been awarded more than one top award. Laughing Crab Catering won THREE!

Laughing Crab's crab cakes won two top honors, best crab cake at the festival and best overall seafood item. This makes 14 awards for the Laughing Crab recipe. In addition, their Shrimp Puppies won the shrimp dish category. The Shrimp Puppy is an exclusive creation of Laughing Crab Catering that puts a Chesapeake Bay twist on the original Coney Island corn dog batter recipe.

Laughing Crab Catering is proud to offer Havre de Grace restaurant quality to fairs, festivals and special events around the country. Laughing Crab will be offering its award winning Chesapeake Bay delicacies at over 40 East Coast events this year. This business is in the unique position of being able to spread the Havre de Grace Tourism message throughout country. After four Florida events, followed by the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, Laughing Crab will return home for summer events including the Susquehanna Music Festival, Havre de Grace Independence Celebration Parade, Havre de Grace Seafood Festival, Havre de Grace Art & Craft Show and select downtown events.
